We love getting out and about in the community to tell you more about what we do
Attending local events, schools and community groups gives our paramedics the opportunity to improve people’s understanding of the ambulance service, as well as teaching important lifesaving skills.
We’ll come to you
We can arrange free visits from our staff to your local event, school or community group to tell you more about the North East Ambulance Service and the role of our paramedics, as well as teaching first aid or lifesaving skills.
We can also arrange online sessions if this is more convenient for you or your group.
Tailored visits
We have a flexible programme in place that can be tailored to meet the interests and capabilities of different age groups. This makes sure you get the most out of our visit and benefit fully from the experience.
This can include a mix of presentations, practical skills training, videos and discussions.
Online resources
We also have a range of videos and resources that can be used by schools and other groups to find out more about our service.
